Historically Inspired Face Mask
Show your love for history with a historically inspired face mask. Each mask is made following CDC mask guidelines, but with a historical twist.
These masks are all hand-sewn, using 18th century sewing techniques, with hand pleated sides and tape ties. Each mask features one side with fashionable historical fabric and a neutral style of white, cream or beige on the other side. All materials used are either a combination of cotton, linen, or a linen-cotton blend; they're machine-washable and one size fits most.
The CDC is currently recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. In an effort to preserve critical supplies for healthcare workers, the CDC suggests face coverings be made from at home common materials.
Rhode Island's Health Department is doubling down on the CDC recommendations, stating that everyone wear cloth-based coverings for their mouths and noses while out in public.
