Southwest View of Newport. A 1795 print from a steel engraving of the coastline of Newport Harbor viewed from the Southwest, hand-colored by artist Samuel King and engraver L. Allen. Small merchant ships are visible in the harbor, and a dense commercial and residential waterfront with fields and windmills in the distance. Within the bustling town, several landmarks are visible including Trinity Church, Colony House, and the Brick Market.
Full bleed, beautifully printed 28" x 20" poster comes rolled in a cardboard tube. Select the poster alone or with the additional easy-to-hang scroll kit, which includes two easy-to-peel sticky-back wooden dowels with a hanging string already attached for easy hanging.
