Claggett Script Scarf
This scarf draws its inspiration from the work of famous Newport clockmaker and engraver, William Claggett (1694–1748). Considered one of America's earliest and greatest clockmakers, Claggett's majestic pieces of functional art still inspire awe today. In addition to crafting clocks, Claggett was an engraver and printer, and was tapped by the Rhode Island general assembly to design and print state currency in 1738.
This scarf is made of a woven polyester material that looks and feels just like silk and features William Claggett’s script. This over-sized and billowing scarf's stunning colors will add a pop to any outfit and looks great over ones shoulders as a shawl!
