Claggett Moon Stars Tie
This necktie draws its inspiration from the work of famous Newport clockmaker and engraver, William Claggett (1694–1748). Considered one of America's earliest and greatest clockmakers, Claggett's majestic pieces of functional art still inspire awe today. In addition to crafting clocks, Claggett was an engraver and printer, and was tapped by the Rhode Island general assembly to design and print state currency in 1738.
Custom necktie measuring 60" long and 2.5" across. Made from a microfiber that feels and acts just like silk, this is the perfect gift for those who love history or appreciate 18th century design!
