Claggett Cutting Board

Tempered 8"x 8" glass cutting board with an image of a moon that doubles as a serving tray or cheese board!

This cutting board draws its inspiration from the work of famous Newport clockmaker and engraver, William Claggett  (1694–1748). Considered one of America's earliest and greatest clockmakers, Claggett's majestic pieces of functional art still inspire awe today. In addition to crafting clocks, Claggett was an engraver and printer, and was tapped by the Rhode Island general assembly to design and print state currency in 1738.
