A real conversation piece for your next spot of tea, this 7.5" by 4.5" black tea brick can be chipped then steeped in hot water to make a perfect cup. Each tea brick comes wrapped in brown kraft paper (as shown).

In colonial America, the new availability of stimulating beverages like tea provided a welcome alternative to alcohol, and helped coffeehouses become gathering places for community discussion and debate. Tea was also popularly drank at home. In the collections of the Newport Historical Society is the epitome of eighteenth century fashionable tea consumption - a rococo teapot made by Paul Revere.
