Poster Print, The Parade
The Parade. While the identity of the artist is unknown, local lore attributes it to a Hessian soldier who was imprisoned in Newport after the American Revolution. Today referred to as 'Washington Square', The Parade depicts several buildings including the Brick Market, currently home to the Newport Historical Society's Museum of Newport History and Shop.
